The “Bicocchi“, which officially opened its doors on July 10, 1966, has a tradition of almost fifty years, and the current structure is the result of the transformation of what was initially only a bar with a room mostly used for quick snacks. Widespread fame and increased the clientele, the modest structure has become a modern company which houses a dining room capable of 200 seats. The aesthetics, enhanced by an impressive beamed ceiling and a tree trunk-shaped fireplace, is enriched by many objects of traditional country and mountain. Attached to the restaurant, a large terrace offers a breathtaking view on the underlying so called Svizzera Pesciatina. In support of all the nearby garden ensures that tranquility especially suited to the most important ceremonies.

The kitchen, supervised still today by Mrs. Rosina, is based on traditional dishes of the mountain revisited with a touch of originality and modernity. Undisputed protagonists are undoubtedly Porcini mushrooms and the game. Among the wide range of dishes stand out the homemade pastas such as Ravioli made up by Rcotta cheese and spinaches, Pappardelle with wild boar sauce ; noodles with Porcini mushrooms; refined risottos and, finally, a fantastic Polenta with mushrooms or wild boar . On mushrooms and game are generally also based the Main Courses, among whom we can underline the wild Boar with a traditional sauce, the fried lamb cutlets, the traditional veal loin with grilled porcini chapels, all of them suitable with fried Porcini mushrooms served on wooden plates.. Among the desserts, which depend on seasonal products, we can count original dishes like Fritters made up by mixed fuit served with ice cream Ice Cream, hot blackberries and redberries with ice cream and some traditional dishes such as Chestnut and Ballotti.

The restaurant organizes also themed lunches and set menù during the most important festivals.
